As we headed out to Palm Springs for the spring CAA Convention, we were really excited about meeting up with the makers and shakers of the California security industry.
The security industry is changing faster than Apple product versions; technology that wasn’t possible just a year ago is now becoming mainstream. As you know Electronic Eye Security specializes in two cutting edge technologies: pro-active surveillance and interactive security.
Now we are starting to integrate the two platforms together to create an affordable, virtually undefeatable security system that incorporates not just alerts, video clips, visual or audio deterrents but also gets our command center (the heart of your security system) involved. Introducing Genius Interactive Service.
Earlier this month I met with William Wilke of General Monitoring Services to do a training session on this new technology we are using to keep an eye on your business 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I couldn’t be happier with the result, they have already created a location on the command center floor to monitor and respond to these very alerts and alarms with live operators that have been trained the Genius way.
Some of the key features of our new Interactive service video include:
- Video Verification from an alarm activation – Never worry again about what caused the alarm activation let our command center investigate and make sure it’s a true alarm situation.
- Guard Tours of remote cameras on your premise – Of course if you have time to watch your own cameras 24 hours a day then you really wouldn’t need this time saving feature
- Device Monitoring for optimal performance – it’s like having your own 24 / 7 day a week system administrator
- No Software, no hardware – if you already have a surveillance / security system then you already have everything you need to get started.
Our cloud based video verification service relates alarm events with video clips from the Genius Security System or Genius Surveillance System and even works with some older equipment like DSC and Ademco security panels. We can also use older DVRs, NVRs, Videofied, and IP cameras. When an alarm is triggered, the central station operator can view a clip of what caused the alarm, as well as live view the facility. All video plays for the operator in our universal player and all operator actions are stored in the event history of the central station software. Genius Interactive Service removes the guessing games of what caused the system to go into alarm, allowing for quick and direct police dispatch.
As we work with our strategic partners and develop custom solutions for Electronic Eye Security clients, be on the look out in the very near future for an all into one easy app that can seamlessly work on any mobile device or computer.
