We’re starting to wonder if there is something in the water over in dear ole Costa Mesa. A couple weeks ago, we told you about a dumb crook out there who robbed an El Pollo Loco and then returned to buy food (we can’t make this up people, you can find the post HERE). Now we’re back to tell you about an individual who couldn’t let the other guy have all the fun!
Nothing Satisfies a Hunger like Big Mac’s and Breaking the Law!
Early Thursday morning, Brandon Lang (22) of Newport Beach decided he was hungry. The only way to satisfy this hunger was to meander on down to McDonald’s. Mind you, this was just after midnight. He probably figured this would be a good time because it’d be slow and he wouldn’t have to wait. Mr. Lang ordered his food and left to enjoy his meal. A short time later he returned to the counter to announce he was robbing the place. Maybe he’s not fond of the apple pies and decided a good heist would be the best dessert. Oh, and he used his t-shirt to cover his face. TALK ABOUT A GREAT DISGUISE! Police were summoned immediately. As they arrived, Brandon ran out of the McDonald’s and was taken into custody. It is believed that he was intoxicated during these events. Just say NO people!
